Giorgio De Chirico
Biography
Giorgio de Chirico (Flight, July 10, 1888 - Rome, November 20, 1978) was an Italian painter and writer, the main exponent of the artistic movement of metaphysical painting. The works that de Chirico painted before the birth of metaphysics were defined enigmatic.
His subjects were inspired by daylight of Mediterranean cities, but then gradually turned his attention to classical architecture.
