Lucio Fontana

Lucio Fontana is an enigmatic artist: he spoke very little in his life and has produced a lot. From valuable sculptor gravestones in Argentina to symbolist sculptor in Italy painter who deceives the jury of exhibitions, giving the members of antiquated trombones, arguing that his paintings are sculptures, so that, although invited by the sculptor, could expose the canvas, Lucio Fontana has always known stupire.Non little wonder, in fact, led to his gesture -immortalato Ugo Mulas- to cut the paintings. Many have been, are and will be critical of what was probably the most significant gesture of art of the '900.
