Patrizio Travagli

Biography
Artist of international scope, Patrizio Travagli has long maintained social and cultural validity of the art integrated with architecture. In his interesting research alternate in tune with art making techniques and materials "classics" (canvas, paint, color, paper, gold, silver, brass) and the use of the latest technologies (LED, fiber optic light sources of various types) "signs" apparently distant objects will be in harmonious dialogue between their warning in a decisive manner the intensity and timbre of a feeling indicating that they affect the perception of reality. All this makes him occupy fully a leading place in that trend is called "informal".

Born in Florence in 1972, where he lives and works. He graduated at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Florence in 1993. He begins his exhibitions in 1992, still a student of the Academy.
Starting in 1999, came the first awards, including the 2nd prize at the "Torino Meet Art" and the jury prize in the competition "Targhetti Light Art".

Since 2003 he is Director of the Academy of Art in Florence. His works have been exhibited in places of international interest, including

 It dates back to 2010, the "Stupore" that was shown at the 54th Venice Biennale, within the Costa Rica Pavilion.
In 2011 he participated in the XII Biennale in Paris with Talking Bulbheads project.
