Riccardo Licata
Biography
Born in Turin on December 20, 1929. His family moved first to Paris and then to Rome, where he lived from 1935 to 1945. In 1946 he moved with his mother to Venice. In 1947 he enrolled at the Art School. Study the culture of Bauhaus and started to study the mosaic. He knows the Santomaso artists, Widow, Viani, Turcato, Birolli.
In 1949, with other young painters: Ennio Finizi, Tancredi Parmeggiani, Bruno Blenner and sculptor Giorgio Zennaro is a group of abstract tendency.
